I feel like I am always swimming uphill. I am in a constant state of anxiety that fluctuates between annoying unreasonable fear to sheer terror. I soothe myself by spending money and then needing money causes more anxiety. I can never get ahead of my own fear.

I was going through airport security, and I’m an anxious flyer. After the xray machine one of the security agents asked if I had a freestyle libre on my arm and I said yes I have type 1 diabetes. I struggle with it often, and she said to me her daughter also has t1, same age as me. She said she knew how strong I was and the struggle type 1s go through. It made me emotional. I’ll always remember her.

The girl with the abuse story. Im a guy, but i related to that so much. I was raised by a single mom, ive always loved and respected women. Now its everything i can do to stay away because it literally triggers a massive fear response. I was a very easily manipulated person through my 20's. Kindness can be weakness, but im fighting to still stay kind. 95% of me is no longer kind and i want it back. I think i have ptsd. I know i need help but i have no support and i cannot take off work. Family: I went to visit my dad. He lived on the other side of the country he bought me a ticket to go see him. I hadn’t seen him in 2 years. When I got there he told me I was trash all I’ll ever know is trash he told me I needed a real job so I wasn’t any more of a burden on his family than I already am. I never took money from him. He was angry at the world and I was his punching bag the kids that jumped me at school didn’t hurt as bad as some of the things my dad did or said. Friends: (A girl I liked) “I liked you before I knew you…now I don’t.” It hurt. She found me physically attractive but didn’t like me as a person. Kinda felt hollow.

I had just moved to a new city. The friend who I moved in with told me I was “clingy and needy”. It permanently changed the way I view myself and interpersonal relationships. I haven’t allowed myself to be vulnerable with anyone since. It’s been about 25 years now. Unfortunately, I let it break me. Whatever. Now, if I get the slightest inkling that someone doesn’t want me around, I ghost them. I’ll probably die alone and it will probably take two weeks for anyone to realize it, but nobody is ever going to call me “clingy” or “needy” again.

i have never really wanted children. my dad always told me i would grow up and change my mind. last year, at 25, i was struggling very hard mentally and going through a lot, we got into a big argument over nothing and i finally snapped and yelled back at him after taking it for so long, and he told me that if i ever become a mom it would be the most f***ed up thing to ever happen to my life. implying id be a horrible mother. the moment he said that, it shattered whatever respect and love i still had for him and two weeks after that i was gone. but it still plays in my head constantly. i will never be a parent after hearing that

How am I doing, really? Honestly I am not ok. I’m sad, lonely, scared, lost. I’ll never be happy. I no longer have purpose here. My whole life I’ve been terrified of dying and dying alone. But honestly I’ve never been more ready to go than I am now. I have no more life left in me. I used to care about life. Not anymore. I’m dying, I’m slowly dying. You see I recently lost my 25 year old son. He came home from work and said his chest hurt and he was gonna nap it off. He forever closed his eyes. Report came back as Natural cause of death/undetermined. It’s not natural for a perfectly healthy hard working young man with no health conditions to die. He was my first love, my best friend, my protector. My world, my oxygen, he was my purpose in life and my reason for being. I lived for him. He is all I ever knew and he is all I had. My 25 year old son was my only child and don’t know how to live without him. I really don’t and I can’t live without him. I’m am no longer living but merely existing. He wouldn’t want me to happy and keep going without him. Because he knew how devastated I would be if anything happened to him. Just like I know he wouldn’t be happy without me. And I wouldn’t have expected him to be happy without me. He would be devastated without me. I stay in my room all day in bed. I will literally hold my pee so I don’t have to get up. I just don’t have the energy to do anything anymore. All I do I cry and yell out for my son’s name. I need help. I’m not gong to make it through this alone. My heart hurts every second of the day without him. I hate being alone. I can’t take this unbearable grief. I just want to be with my son again. Son if you hear me please tell me where to go for here. I’m lost. I miss you and I love you so very much son. I’ll see you soon son, I promise.
